Sage - Unconventional Minimalist Poems about the Human Condition

Sage

They look up to him
As some kind of sage and
He’s more than happy
To use their adulation
As an excuse to
Behave reprehensibly,
Swollen with self-importance,
Believing his own hype,
A rubbish-filled fraud
Strutting around on a stage
Looking for his next victim.
