I’m poet Guy Farmer and I write poetry for deeper people. What’s a deeper person? I tend to think of them as someone who possesses an intensity of feeling and perception that goes beyond what most others normally appreciate.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt like I experience things at a more profound level than most people. This characteristic is reflected in my poetry in that I suggest many possible meanings and avenues for exploration and follow paths many try to avoid. My poems don’t resonate with people solely looking for superficial entertainment.
I had a reader in London say, “Your poetry works in different dimensions, almost as if it were written for people who are ready to experience something beyond standard reality.”
