I’m poet Guy Farmer and I write poems about broken people. I’m fascinated with the human psyche and why people do the things they do.
My poems are loved by people who enjoy delving into the intimate recesses of the human experience, including the difficult places most avoid.
I had a marvelous reader in Los Angeles say that my poems reflect, “The inner turmoil we all experience but that so many of us don’t know what to do with.”
Here are some of my poems about broken people:
- Acrimony
- She Knew What It Was Like
- Top of the Food Chain
- Awful Agenda
- Flailing
- Not an Option
- Vortex
- Wealthy Country
- It Didn’t Happen
- The Result
- Honed
- The Next Victory
- Repercussions
- Continue
- Glorious Dream
- Absence of Shame
- Tools
- Intruder
- Whatever They Want
- One of Their Own
Many thanks to all the wonderful people who have made this site and my poetry book a success. I’m grateful you’re out there reading. Cheers, Guy.
